Scholarships

The College of Art & Design offers scholarships and awards for both undergraduate and graduate students in the disciplines of architecture, art, interior design, and landscape architecture and to graduate students in art history. We consider it a main priority to help relieve some of the financial burden of tuition costs and to offer supplements to help students with financial need afford the travel costs associated with field studies, conference attendance, class trips, site visits, and academic programs abroad. On average, 125 scholarships and awards are awarded to students each year by the College of Art & Design.

The scholarships and awards listed on this website reflect the opportunities available through the School of Architecture, School of Art, School of Interior Design, and Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture. Students who meet the individual scholarship criteria are encouraged to apply. Most scholarships are awarded at the end of the spring semester.

Many external organizations offer scholarships for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø College of Art & Design students, as well. Check with your student organization and/or area coordinators for a list of external scholarship opportunities. For more financial aid and scholarship opportunities, visit .

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is consistently recognized as one of the most affordable, highest value colleges in the US. Even so, five years of out-of-state tuition can be a substantial investment. Landscape architecture student Kevin McKee, from Houston, said that receiving the Marguerite Conrad Memorial Scholarship allowed him to travel with six other students in Professor Bruce Sharky’s studio class on a two-week trip to Sichuan Province, China. This experience was key in shaping McKee’s great experience at the College of Art + Design. Read more.
